Little girl (9) rescued from basement dungeon: Residents practice cruel vigilante justice
Tramandaí (Brazil) - Disturbing incident in Brazil. A little girl (9) was rescued by the police from an improvised cellar dungeon. The suspected child molester (61) was cruelly lynched on the spot by an angry crowd .
When police officers entered the small grocery store of Marco Antônio Bocker Jacob (61), they could already hear the desperate cries of the little victim.
A few seconds later, the nine-year-old was freed from the clutches of the suspected child abuser . She was discovered by military police officers in an improvised dungeon, reports CNN.
What followed were very unpleasant scenes. Angry residents approached and demanded that the officers hand over the man. A scuffle broke out. The police had to retreat, one officer was injured.
The lynch mob then took merciless revenge, trashing the 61-year-old's store, smashing up his car and beating the man to death.
A disturbing video shows the suspected child molester lying on the floor covered in blood. With the last of his strength, he tries to say something, but instead of words, the dying man only utters an unintelligible gasp.

Tramandai lynching to be solved
The mob only let go of the 61-year-old when numerous police officers arrived. But the situation escalated again when the police brought the dead man to an ambulance. Stones were thrown and the police fired tear gas and rubber bullets into the crowd.
Local residents had long been suspicious of the store owner. The man is said to have repeatedly approached children in front of his store, slipped them sweets and apparently wanted the children to come into his store, reports the Globo portal.
The portal also reports that Marco Antônio Bocker Jacob has several previous convictions: Drug trafficking, car theft, cruelty to animals, assault. The man is also alleged to have committed the murder of a woman.
After the lynching, the police expressed their desire to solve the crime. Meanwhile, church representatives and politicians have condemned the cruel case of vigilante justice . The circumstances will be investigated and manslaughter charges will be brought against those responsible, announced MP Alexandre de Sousa. No one has been arrested so far.
What happens next for the victim remains to be seen. She was apparently severely traumatized and claimed to have been abused by the perpetrator. It is to be hoped that the little girl will one day be able to put her terrible experiences behind her.
