This was reported by the Irish newspaper"Irish Mirror". The incident occurred yesterday, Tuesday, at around 2 p.m. (local time) after leaving the Welsh port town of Fishguard.

Just under three and a half hours later, the ferry docked in Rosslare Harbour in Ireland, where countless ambulances, emergency doctors and police officers were already waiting for the ship.

According to the report, a man was seen in the women's toilet during the crossing, together with an apparently unconscious woman who was later pronounced dead.

After an initial shock to all passengers on board, tempers flared and a wild mass brawl broke out. Eventually, the crew managed to settle the dispute that had broken out and separate the individual parties.

The man, who was found together with the body in the women's toilet, was immediately taken into custody by the police after the ship docked.

Cause of death of the woman still unclear

It is not yet clear what the cause of death of the deceased woman is. Her body is currently still lying on the ferry, as the police forensics team must first complete their work. An autopsy will then be carried out to find out what caused the woman's death.

"Nevertheless, everything here revolves around a woman who has lost her life. Our thoughts are with her family," added a police spokesperson in an interview.
