Secret information shared in family chat: Next Trump minister scandal
Washington D.C. (USA) - US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth (44) has had another chat mishap! He is said to have leaked secret information about the war in Yemen to his wife and brother on the messaging app Signal.

According to a report in the British "Mirror", the voices within the Pentagon and the US government are getting louder and louder. Many employees are calling for the dismissal of the current Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
Less than a month ago, a journalist was mistakenly added to a Department of Defense signal chat and thus got his hands on sensitive and (actually) top secret information.
Now Hegseth is said to have made another misstep after opening a new group with his wife Jennifer Rauchet (40), a former producer at FOX News, and his brother Phil, who holds a liaison position of sorts between the Pentagon and the Department of Homeland Security under the new administration , giving them information about air strikes in Yemen and other classified data.
In addition to the two family members, his personal lawyer and eight other people were also part of the group chat.
White House describes allegations as falsehoods
But despite all the dissenting voices, US President Donald Trump (78) and the White House are backing Hegseth. They describe these reports as "non-story", i.e. not true. According to these reports, recently dismissed Pentagon employees are spreading false allegations because they cannot cope with their dismissal.
According to a White House press release: "Recently fired 'leakers' continue to distort the truth to soothe their bruised egos and undermine the President's agenda. But the government will continue to hold them accountable."
