Suddenly her bottom goes up in flames: Woman suffers severe burns!

Anápolis - A woman was literally set on fire while shopping when her cell phone suddenly exploded in her pocket.

Surveillance camera footage from a store in the Brazilian city of Anápolis shows flames suddenly bursting out of a customer's back pocket.

The woman immediately starts jumping around wildly, her companion tries to hold her down and put out the fire.

As the Brazilian magazine"G1" reported, the woman suffered first and second degree burns to her buttocks, back, hands and hair. She was treated in a hospital.

Her husband explained that the smartphone that caused the burns was a Motorola E32. The device was barely a year old.

According to the report, the company contacted the woman concerned to clarify why the model blew up.

The injured Brazilian woman has since been released from hospital. However, she is still "quite traumatized" by the incident, said her partner.
