Thailand vacationer (26) disappeared without a trace: Was he the victim of a crime?
Koh Phi Phi (Thailand) - A British tourist (26) is missing in Thailand - his disappearance raises questions!

As Daily Mail reports, Daniel Davies had been staying at the Hangover Hostel in Bangkok and was last seen on the popular island of Koh Phi Phi.
However, there has been no sign of life from him since March 13, which is completely out of character for the young man. His girlfriend Lucia wrote on Facebook, "His cell phone is off and no one has heard from him in weeks, which is nothing like him." The police in Thailand have been looking for him ever since, but so far there are no leads.
Lucia also asked: "If anyone knows anyone in Thailand or is planning a trip there soon, please keep an eye out for him."
The British Foreign Office has been informed about the case, but the family is increasingly concerned. Over the past ten years, dozens of Western tourists have died in mysterious circumstances in the tourist paradise - including at least two Britons this year alone.
The local authorities often explain these deaths as accidents or suicides. But many relatives are skeptical, as many of these cases have not been thoroughly investigated.
A British man died in Thailand just last month

British tourist Nick Weir (†28) died in a violent altercation in Bangkok just last month.
In the early hours of March 24, he was reportedly turned away outside a karaoke bar following a loud disturbance.
Two security guards followed him on a motorcycle and caught him a short time later. When Nick apparently tried to get on their motorcycle, the situation escalated and he was knocked unconscious.
Despite immediate resuscitation attempts, his life could not be saved.
It is not yet clear why the young man was behaving so conspicuously. The authorities are waiting for forensic results to determine whether alcohol or other substances were involved.
