Woman uploads video to TikTok: The next day she's blindsided - and goes to the doctor
Texas (USA) - Esha Adikeshava (22) provides her followers with information, tips and tricks about beauty and fashion. Her social media hobby has now probably saved the US-American from a serious illness.

Over the Christmas period, the 22-year-old published a video on TikTok . In the short clip, Esha spoke about prejudices against people from South Asia and about hair care. Two hours after the upload, her life changed in one fell swoop.
One of her followers commented on the video. "Oh, you should get your thyroid checked," was the user's reaction. At first she dismissed the comment, but the next morning Esha became suspicious.
Overnight, her clip had been viewed thousands of times and comments with the same wording had literally flooded in: "Get your thyroid checked!"
In an interview with People, the 22-year-old revealed that it was only then that she realized that there might be something to the comments.
Followers made the right diagnosis, Esha is overjoyed

But how did Esha's followers come to the conclusion that something might be wrong with her thyroid?
Many of her more than 73,000 followers noticed suspicious lumps on the 22-year-old's neck. Some of the tipsters knew exactly these symptoms from their own experience.
Esha finally went to the doctor and had herself examined. In another video posted by the Texan on January 18, she shared the following with her community: "All my blood work was normal, but my ultrasound showed that I have three small lumps in my thyroid gland."
So her followers were right! Esha, meanwhile, was delighted to be online regularly. She thanked everyone for "saving her life" and "looking out for her".
