Couple flying on an airplane for the first time: When they try to open their suitcase, they are struck by a blow
Japan/Thailand - An elderly couple from Thailand were blindsided when they tried to open their suitcase after an exhausting long-haul flight.

This oversight could have had serious consequences.
The Thai medium Today.line reports on a strange incident that took place last week at Tokyo-Narita Airport.
A senior couple checked in with their luggage - a red and a black suitcase - at the regional airport of Surat Thani (southern Thailand). The couple had never flown before; their daughter had bought and organized the dream vacation for her parents, reported travel guide Mr Heng on Facebook.
However, during the stopover at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, a serious mistake occurred. On arrival, the couple accidentally took another passenger's suitcase with them.
Without realizing the mix-up, the couple hurried to the international terminal, went through security and boarded the plane to Japan in high spirits.
Shock at Tokyo-Narita Airport: When pensioners open the suitcase, they immediately contact the police

It was only when they tried to open "their" suitcase at the airport because they wanted to brush their teeth after hours in the air that they noticed the mix-up.
Because the combination on the suitcase lock was suddenly no longer correct, the pensioners called their daughter. And she advised them to look at the bag tag on the suitcase.
Meanwhile, the entire tour group gathered around the mysterious piece of luggage. When tour guide Heng finally managed to open the suitcase, he was in for a shock. Suddenly there were 24 kilograms of marijuana.
Japan is known for its strict anti-drug laws. The country's laws stipulate up to ten years in prison for cannabis smuggling.
But the pensioners were lucky, Mr. Heng continued. They approached the police while still at the airport. The officers believed them. The Thai couple were able to continue their vacation in Japan after the scare. "How can 24 kilos of marijuana get from Surat Thani airport to Bangkok without being checked? And how can 24 kilos of marijuana get from Bangkok to Tokyo without being checked?" asked the perplexed tour guide on Facebook.
In the meantime, the owner of the suitcase contacted the airport staff in Bangkok and stated that his luggage had gone missing. The staff tried in vain to reach the pensioners by telephone.
Meanwhile, the rightful owner of the suitcase preferred to make off.
