Cruise ship gets into rough seas: objects suddenly fly around, 16 people injured
New Zealand - Cruise with horror. The "Crown Princess" ran into rough seas off the coast of New Zealand. The megaliner was shaken violently and 16 people were injured. Footage shows nightmarish scenes, with many passengers probably suffering mortal fear.

It was supposed to be a unique experience. And it was.
A 14-day New Zealand cruise on board the Crown Princess was a test of nerves for passengers and crew alike. The 290-metre-long ship ran into heavy seas in the breathtaking fjords of New Zealand's South Island, reports 9news. The ship had to change course as a result.
Meanwhile, chaos reigned on board. The ship took on a threatening leaning position. Desperate passengers tried to hold on to themselves and their loved ones, some fell, others were hit by flying objects. The pool on the sun deck overflowed. In the small boutique, skincare products flew off the shelves and became sharp-edged projectiles.
The galley was also affected. The kitchen staff were taken by surprise as they were preparing the food for the buffet. Suddenly, pots and pans flew across the room and people had to hold on tight.

After wave drama in New Zealand: 16 people injured
After a few minutes, the spook was over. 13 passengers and three crew members suffered minor injuries, reports the specialist portal"Cruise Passenger".
The ship was initially able to continue its 14-day voyage from Sydney to New Zealand.
"On 25 February, the Crown Princess ran into strong winds during a course change in Fjordland, New Zealand, causing the ship to briefly tilt beyond its usual motion before stabilizing. Our crew reacted quickly to correct the situation and at no time was the safety of the ship compromised," said Princess Cruises. No structural damage was found on the ship.
Milford Sound, where the incident occurred, is known for its rough weather conditions. Although the incident seemed threatening to many on board, the mega cruise ship , which entered service in 2006, can withstand far more violent waves.
